- Yes. The calculator, QuickCalc, rifle profiles, weather station, and unit converter are free; range and target cards, the DOPE book, scope tracking, Load Lab, comparison, and range estimation are part of Professional Edition. Nothing is a separate purchase.
- What is a DOPE book?
- DOPE stands for "data on previous engagements" — a shooter’s log of what a rifle actually did at real distances in real conditions. Calculated tables predict; a DOPE book verifies. The Range tab includes a digital DOPE book for recording confirmed field data alongside your calculated solutions.
- What is a range card in shooting?
- A range card is a quick-reference table of dial-ups or holdovers for one rifle and load at set distances — the thing you tape to your stock or keep in a scope cap. Baseline Maps generates one from your rifle profile and lets you print or share it.
- Can I track scope adjustments in the app?
- Yes. Scope Tracking logs every turret adjustment, shows an AT ZERO or DIALED state at a glance, and returns to zero with one tap — so a dialed correction never follows you to the next shot by accident.
- Is the Range tab an extra purchase?
